At the combined Hertfordshire and Middlesex Indoor championships Enfield & Haringey AC athletes won 18 gold medals.

Chris Kandu equalled his outdoor personal best when winning the Middlesex B15 high jump gold on countback from Horeb Makabukidi - both cleared 1.70m which was a new PB for the latter. Beth Grimsey was close to her personal best in winning the Middlesex W17 high jump with 1.60m; Beth sailed over 2.80 in the pole vault to add that title to her collection. Joanna Willard was second in that competition with a 2.40m clearance while Pernille Douvran achieved 3.20m in the senior event for the Middlesex gold.

In the Middlesex M17 60 metres sprints, Chijindu Ujah ran 7.04 for that title after recording 6.98 in the semi finals. Clifford Newby, still a comparative new boy, lowered his PB once again in taking the silver medal with 23.19.

On the infield Mary Martin won the Middlesex G15 long jump (4.45m) and Mary Fasipe the W17 competition with her jump of 4.95m. (GH)
